​Michelle is a professional photographer with 15+ years of experience capturing sports, events, and lifestyle moments. With a background in competitive athletics, she has a sharp eye for movement and timing.
She also brings over a decade of experience in social media management, combining her passion for sport and creativity to deliver dynamic visual storytelling that connects people to every moment.

Marley Peters

A 2019 graduate of Red River College’s Creative Communications program, Marley specializes in Public Relations, Digital Marketing, and Internal Communications. She has supported organizations like Speed Skating Manitoba and Team Manitoba on their paths to the Olympics and Canada Winter Games. Passionate about ethics, accessibility, and inclusivity, she also serves as Communications Chair for the Institute for International Women’s Rights – Manitoba Chapter.

A proven sport management professional, Amanda holds a Master’s in Sport Business Management and has a track record of success in NCAA athletics, non-profit organizations, and the provincial government. She is committed to advocating for equal opportunity, encouraging multi-sport participation, and leveraging the power of sport to create opportunities and develop future leaders.

Sarah Tone

With 15 years in strategic communications and over a decade in amateur sport, Sarah whole-heartedly believes in the power of sport to build stronger communities. A former multi-sport athlete and long-time volunteer, she understands how to communicate sport's value to athletes, parents, partners, and funders alike.
She brings purpose to every project—using storytelling and public relations to connect people, grow reach, and drive meaningful engagement.

Ashleigh Wiebe

Ashleigh received a diploma in Business Administration - Accounting from Red River College in 2020. She is passionate about problem solving with a keen attention to detail. Ashleigh has experience working with non-profit sport and enjoys optimizing her clients' accounting processes. From figure skating, to soccer, to powerlifting, to running, she has been an athlete her whole life and believes Sport is essential and for everyone.

Ron Weiser

An experienced sport governance leader, he has held senior board roles, driving governance modernization, strategic planning, and international event success. His leadership spans national and provincial organizations, major championship delivery, volunteer operations, and club level growth, with a sustained focus on organizational excellence and sport development. His business career has spanned small, medium, and international organizations in multiple roles and disciplines, with more than 10 years of business consulting experience.
It is his passion and belief in the power of sport to strengthen and bind communities and to improve the lives of all Canadians, that foster his endeavours in amateur sports.

Darryl is an event specialist with over 20 years of planning and executing a wide range of sport events from grassroots tournaments to multi-day national championships.
He has a strong technical background, attention to detail, and extensive experience in the critical areas of event management. Driven by the thrill of competition and the passion of bringing people together, Darryl looks to make every event a memorable one.

Tyson Langelaar
Portfolio: Executive Director Pathway

Tyson is a World Cup medalist and 2022 Winter Olympian in speed skating, bringing over a decade of experience as a dedicated member of the national program. He has competed at the highest levels of international sport, earning a reputation for his strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, and continuous drive for growth.
Currently a student at the University of Calgary, Tyson balances his academic pursuits with the demands of elite competition. Off the ice, he is deeply committed to giving back—volunteering with numerous organizations and supporting initiatives within the community.
With a unique combination of high-performance experience, academic focus, and community involvement, Tyson brings valuable perspective and energy to the team. We’re excited to have him on board as we continue supporting athletes and sport organizations across Manitoba and beyond!

With experience across Provincial and National Sport Organizations, she brings a strong understanding of governance frameworks, compliance, and best practices within the Canadian sport system.
